Johnson County Helping Hands Women's Shelter and Family Service Center is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to serving individuals and families in crisis. Our two-bedroom house serves as a temporary shelter for women and their children. Our Family Service Center offers utility bill assistance, emergency food vouchers, and assistance with rent. Additionally, we provide referrals to other area agencies such as food banks, ARVAC, and Dept. of Human Services.
