Thank you to everyone who joined us for this month's Lunch & Learn featuring Needy Paws Animal Shelter!
We had an informative discussion about how spay and neuter programs do more than improve animal welfare. They create a positive impact on our entire community and local economy. By helping reduce pet overpopulation, these programs can decrease the number of stray animals, lower the demand on local shelters and animal control resources, reduce taxpayer costs, and create safer neighborhoods for both residents and pets.
Our speaker, Chelsea Snyder, also shared how responsible pet ownership benefits local businesses, strengthens community quality of life, and helps ensure that shelter resources are available for animals who truly need them.
